Deborah Kobylt Live Podcast

A Conversation with Deborah Kobylt

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and I’d like to welcome to Deborah Kobylt Live mental health advocate and author Tracey Yokas, whose book, BLOODLINES, A Memoir of Harm and Healing, is gaining attention for its raw portrayal of tackling mental health issues so they don’t consume your life.

I met Tracey at a writer’s group I’m a part of, and I was instantly drawn to her story. There are so many struggling with past wounds and aren’t sure how to heal or even where to turn. BLOODLINES shows us it’s possible to recover and lead a healthy life. She talks about her family’s journey with mental illness and healing so people don’t feel they’re alone.
