Mother’s Empowerment Podcast
A Conversation with Isabelle Bridges
Are you tired of feeling resentful and overwhelmed by motherhood?
Today, Isabelle had the absolute pleasure to sit down with author Tracey Yokas to discuss the importance of knowing who you are, identifying codependency, and dealing with “mental health issues.” Tracey shares her personal journey around mental health and the challenges she had raising a daughter who had many “unfixable” challenges. We get real and personal as Isabelle shares her own issues with mental health. This episode is packed with valuable advice for anyone looking to improve their relationship with themselves.

Great conversation, Tracey! Listening to this episode, I was reminded of how I used to define myself as a daughter, wife, mother, etc. These were the roles I played, mainly as ways I was there to take care of people I loved. That’s not all bad. The problem was that I wasn’t also truly taking care of myself. Something was missing inside me for a long time, and it was the work I did to feel whole that led me to be my happiest and most fulfilled self. Over time I realized I am so much more than the roles I fill.
Yes Sue! Thank you for listening and commenting!
